![]() I started doing Miledown Anki after a week and a half (after I had skimmed the EK books). It is much easier and much more doable than what people make of it. The MCAT is not the monster that they make it seem like. Yes, I took 4 spring/summer courses to improve my GPA as well as part-time work! (~5 hours/week), and I also had volunteering on the side. They all give you a "wow! That's such a cool and creative question" vibe. The questions are harder than the actual MCAT, but they're all so enjoyable. They are the most amazing sources I have ever used. You can spend more time into rewatching the fluids videos/rereading your fluids notes in more depth.ĪAMC Resources. So let's say in physics, while you remember everything very well from your content review, you have forgotten some of the fluids stuff. Also, this third month is a great period to clarify things you might have forgotten. The MileDown 90 page document is incredible for review. Third month: Review of high yield concepts + more practice questions. Learning content and doing individual practice passages for every unit you finish. I would recommend a 4 month studying plan.įirst two months: Focusing on each individual subject. I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out to me if you had any questions! It's more understanding than pure memorization.įor psych/soc however, Anki is the best source, because psych is the only section on the MCAT that relies greatly on memorization and recalling of terms. On the MCAT, BB is all about graph and table analysis, biochemistry and lab techniques. But practice passages are much more valuable than Anki.īut for a section like BB, I believe that Anki is not necessarily the way to go. Remember that for a section like CP, Anki would most help with you memorizing formulas (for physics) and organic chemistry reaction mechanisms. So to answer your question, I would recommend doing the MileDown anki deck once you are comfortable with the material. I was able to score a 131 (97%) on Psych/Soc by simply doing two things:ġ) Watched all of the Khan Academy Psychology & Sociology VideosĢ) 50 Flashcards/day and finished the entire deck two times
